I found this Jedi Starfighter toy at a local second hand shop. Leeloo approves.
Ten minutes later its broken down to its component parts.
I decided to flip it upside down and change the facing of the cockpit. The thrusters will be attached to the wing tips and that empty space will become fuselage.
Cockpit placement. The old canopy will be cut down to fit on the top of the cockpit and I'll be putting a bubble canopy in the front.
The start of the cockpit. The seats came from a toy car and the console is a Copplestone piece I believe.
Cockpit primed.
Mostly painted but it still needs a crew.
This is how it will sit in the body.
I'll finish the cockpit, pilot and passenger included and then move on to building the fuselage.
